In the year September 17, 1975 a boy called Jimmie Johnson was born in El Cajon, California in a blue-collar family. His parents name was Gary and Cathy and his father was a heavy-machine operator and his mother Cathy was school bus driver. Johnson had the ability to drive 50cc motorcycle when he was five years old itself. He got his first championship award when he was eight years old for racing a larger sized 60cc motorcycle. In the year December 11, 2001 Johnson got married to Chandra Lynn Janway. As a start of his career he participated in many off-road racing competitions. Later he started to perform off-road racing in stadiums. He also participated in short-track series that is being organized by American Speed Association. From the year 1997 till 2000 he was involved in Busch series and later in the year 2002 diecast cars entered into NASCAR series. Winston cup was later called as NASCAR Nextel Cup. Johnson joined in all clubs such as Coco-cola, Caroilina Dodge Dealers, Sylvania, New England, Pennsylvania, Pocono, Subway, UAW-GM Quality, Mountain Drew Southern, Daytona, Aaron's, Allstate etc. In the year 1998 Johnson received the Rookie of the year award by American Speed Association and in the year 2006 Nextel Cup Championship. Johnson faced lots of heartrending setbacks and extraordinary triumphs in several seasons and finally in the year 2006 he won the NASCAR Nextel Cup title. In the year 2002 he completely started to concentrate in the cup series and finally he finished the series by achieving in the top five points and he came as a runner-up twice.
